'DEaD'...

It’s Midnight. A girl leaves a religious temple after just making a little prayer to a nameless God that may not even exist. Not knowing he is watching her every move. But where is he? Right there in front of her like a Dark shadow as a ghost.

She passes a dark cemetery hidden in the woods just before going home to her surrounding and loving family. But first a florist that is outside the temple is still open. She decides to buy a few roses and then decides to leave. As she passed the graveyard. She rests two roses on a tombstone she admired. Not knowing who’s it is. She places two roses on the edge of the tombstone and leaves the rest to lie about.

As she’s about to leave. A soft wind blows one of her rose’s petals right near her feet. As she goes to pick it up. The wind blows it further away. She awkwardly chases after it with great importance. But it disappeared somewhere behind her. As she turns around. She notices further in the cemetery a dark oak tree with her rose petal stuck on it. She approaches the oak tree which looks quiet fresh still. She starts to examine the tree. But is distracted by a soft breeze. Once again as she turns around an image like a flashback of a tall slender guy stands with long jet-black curly hair and then the image disappeared as if she was seeing things. As she starts to head back home she notices one of the two roses that she had left on the edge of the tombstone has disappeared. She panicked and turned around again to see the image of the guy again. But instead she notices piercing red laser sharp eyes watching and then she felt like running home but they were wolves that started to close in on her.

She startled and panicked and knew the wolves weren’t going to give up a good feast and then as she turned to run for it he came down from the night sky dressed in black and closed in on her like the wolves as if she was his feast for the night pushing her further in towards the wolves and scaring them off.

Suddenly the oak tree that she had seen came to life and the vines tied her down like tight ropes and one of them with a strong scent looked like it hit her hard on the back of her head knocking her out but the scent put her to sleep as she was out cold.

Then the oak tree burst open from the ground releasing what looked like a space cruiser from another world. He put her into the cruiser and left closing the ground back up again.

She had finally awoken and awoke in a dark dungeon from what looked like a dungeon from the future. She got up and ran to find an exit to escape and ran through a dungeon like corridor with flames lit across illuminating the entire hallway. Suddenly he appeared behind her in a long black leather trench coat as she was running towards the unknown as fast as she could, he on the other hand was calmly walking behind after her looking like he was leading her into a trap. That’s when she had noticed that there was an exit that was closed. He ignored her moved forward on her and walked through the exit as if he himself was a ghost. She felt trapped and scared and was astonished to see him go through the walls, which was the exit. Suddenly the exit opened and he appeared outside of it opening it for her. Soon as the exit opened she ran for it ignoring him and realised she couldn’t run any further as beyond that point there was nothing but a giant lake which made her feel like she would have to swim forever to get across it. She looked further past the lake across the horizon and saw what looked like a giant mosque as if it was from a fairy tale novel.

Then suddenly as the mosque from the night sky distracted her he came down and picked her up off her feet and flew her across the lake into a giant oak tree where they could rest for the night and she couldn’t escape.

Realising that this is it. It was about to be the end of her. She asked him one last final question hoping he could understand her language. She asked, “Why did you bring me here?” He just gazed at her taking off his coat resting it on one of the branches high up in the giant old oak tree and lit a fireplace. He then came to her and said, “In a few days you are about to die and you are going to end up there.” Pointing in the direction of the mosque that they could see from high up on the branches and then she felt sleepy again and awoke the next morning forgetting about the night before as if it was a bad dream in her own bedroom feeling like she was surrounded by her loving family all over again.

Came the next day, she had forgotten about the whole incident and moved on with her life thinking it was a bad dream and stopped going to the cemetery during late nights.’ A few days later one of her closest girlfriends came around to visit her with the sad heart breaking news, telling her about one of their other closest girlfriends’ who they had known for years and mentioning to her, “Well guess what? Her kid brother just died.” Then she left saying that was all that she came over to tell her and said she’s in a bit of a hurry and she can’t hang around.

Now informed, of this startling sad news she became scared and uncertain of things. Bravely that night she went back to the cemetery late at night and went to the grave where she had left the roses. There were no roses there but instead she found a young girl’s slipper a little bit buried in the soil. She felt it was her own slipper but carelessly ignored it as if it was somebody else’s and then walked over to the gravestone where she was last and blew the dust away from the name as to see whose grave it actually was. Strangely it didn’t sound like it was a grave that she really admired and she was put off it and looked besides that of the gravestone that was the person who was laid to rest next to this grave and as the thick fog cleared she awkwardly saw her roses on that grave the way she had left them. She became scared and thought to herself, “I couldn’t have the wrong grave?’ As on that night, that is the position where she exactly was. She once again, awkwardly feeling seriously scared walked over to the grave next to this one, that she could see with all the roses still left on the edge of the tombstone. Strangely the thing was, that it wasn’t the grave that she had last left the roses on. The grave that she had last left the roses on was the one she wasn’t that admired by and put off. She also blew the dust off that grave; the one now with the roses on them to see whose grave it was and then she saw the name was something like. ‘Jessie Hosking’s.’
She wasn’t surprised; as she never knew whose gravestone it was in the first place. It just looked appealing to her for some unknown reason. But she was scared of the roses, as she couldn’t have dreamt the whole thing as she awoke in her bedroom.

But then what really did happen that night? She couldn’t remember. So then what happened the time before and then the time before and so on? She thinks she went to a temple and made a prayer to someone and then came home and fell asleep in her bedroom because she was really tired after the walk and was scared to walk into the cemetery on her way home. That’s why she had that dream? Something’s not right? As because she is now in the cemetery that she was so scared of. According to her. So who left the roses there? Maybe it was someone else and she dreamt that it was herself and had a fantasy to do the same thing that she may have already had seen someone else do?

Feeling unsettled about things she went into a theatre house with enough money to spare. She wanted to clear her thoughts and saw that there was a theatrical musical play going on with a great music score and a great scene with actors looking like zombies dancing around with a music video playing in the backdrop of what looked like a movie of zombies walking the earth. Then she saw the main cast of the play and it was a beautiful girl and then she saw the guy and it was him. She panicked thinking it’s just her imagination going wild and then tried to rationalise how could that be? Hoping that he was just an ordinary actor acting out the play and the dance performance and it could be just her imagination playing tricks on her and it’s just all co-incidental she abruptly left the play with the guy in the play noticing her and strangely she ran back to the cemetery now feeling very, very unsettled as she couldn’t go home because the cemetery passes her on her way home and distracts her to enter it first before she goes home and she entered the cemetery and saw the name on the grave where the roses were laying and the name is now not the name Jessie Hosking’s that she had previously seen instead it was now the name of her best friend’s kid brother that had just passed away.

Feeling very, very unsettled she looked at the name to the next gravestone after his and saw the name Jessie Hosking’s was now laying opposite across the first gravestone that she saw and was originally put off and Jessie Hosking’s gravestone was now also laying further next to her best friend’s kid brother’s gravestone as that gravestone no longer had the name Jessie Hosking’s written on it. At that moment she decided she should run for it and strangely enough saw that wolves were closing in on her like in her dream and then he flew down from the night sky. This time she was certain she was wide awake the night previous to this also and realised that this was her best friend’s kid brother who had just passed away.
